…to the website of the Gallows Bank Millennium Green Trust and Friends.

As the name implies, this area of roughly five hectares of grassland and tree cover was once the site of Ludlow’s public hangings. Saved from housing development in 1998, it is now protected as a Millennium Green.

With fine open views across Ludlow to Bringewood and beyond the ground is well used by local residents for walks or as a space for quiet reflection amidst natural surroundings.

The purpose of this website is to tell you a little of the history, purposes and management of the 'Bank'.
